Gousse is an award-winning marketer, record/film/commercial producer and talent developer. His focus is to marrry music content and new/emerging technologies in the areas of digital and mobile. Max is available for consultation through SplashKit, and he can unlock Universal Music Group's digital, mobile and brick/mortar distribution channel (Fontana) for qualifying independents.
In the music arena, Gousse has worked with many A-List artists, including Beyonce, Destiny's Child, Shakira, Kelly Rowland, Jay-Z, P. Diddy to name a few. He was responsible for discovering and signing B2K, producing their #1 record "Bump Bump Bump" and two #1 albums "B2K" and "Pandemonium!" A trusted A&R veteran, Max has been credited on albums with global sales exceeding 25 million units. He produced Beyonce's #1 albums "BDay" and "I am Sasha Fierce," Golden Globe Award-winning "Dreamgirls" soundtrack, #1-selling soundtrack for "Barber Shop," and the Cadillac Records soundtrack.
In the mobile arena, he A&R'd the #1 mobile ringtone and digital download of 2007: "Irreplaceable" performed by Beyonce.
In movies, Max was Executive Producer of the #1 box office hit "You Got Served."
In advertising, he supervised music production on global campaigns for Armani "Diamonds" fragrance and L'Oreal's "Infallible" lipstick.
