Kunst is a commercial photographer and photo- journalist. Her portfolio consists of thousands of images, and she is known for her talent in live settings (concerts, engagements and recording sessions) and at private portrait apppointments.
Cindy consistently captures what's real and provocative about her clients. She makes it easy to get comfortable and be honest with the camera, which she achieves by traveling to her clients and working in the midst of their everyday schedule (as opposed to staging mostly in a formal studio). Her work is featured in dozens of SplashKit's portfolio samples, from CD packaging artwork to publicity kits to website designs.
Cindy has had a lifelong passion for photography since the age of 8. Professionally, she was a primary contributor and Photo Editor for Kynd Music.com, an online magazine in 2004 and 2005. An avid supporter of live arts in the Washington D.C. and active member or WAMA, Kunst has photographed in such venues as the Kennedy Center, the Strathmore, the Birchmere and the 9:30 Club. She also spends time each summer teaching a digital photography workshop to inner city school children through the Horizons program at Glen Echo's Photoworks.
