The Dusty Rose Band performed throughout the 80s, including on WHFS radio. In 1994, Dusty orchestrated an all-star band to perform a tribute record to his fallen friend, Dave Allen. The record won a Wammie for Album of the Year (the top award from the Washington Area Music Association).
