Sims is an expert in all types of photography. She is a member of Professional Photographers of America, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International and National Association of Photoshop Professionals. April operates a stock photography store through Artist Rising.
April has a deep passion for the music and poetry industry. She hosts a show on BlogTalkRadio.com called April Sims A & E Radio that provides a platform for artists to not only showcase their talents but also be educated on what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. She has managed several poets and currently operates a CafePress store for poetry-related merchandise. Sims is herself a poet and an author, with her first CD in the works and a series of pieces written for Ezine Articles.
